The professionalism of our engineers and the class of our sales department puts our customers at rest that McNae means quality.

John first started in the agricultural trade in 1964 as an apprentice engineer. His love of machinery drove him to set up his own business in 1985 with the support of his wife Maureen, who provides administrative expertise as the company secretary.

Now strengthened by their two sons Drew and Neil, they are building on the commendable reputation achieved over the last 25 years in the agricultural industry. Drew left school in 1988 to start his engineering apprenticeship with the company and has grown his knowledge and level of expertise throughout the years to achieve the master technician status awarded by Claas. Drew was the first in Scotland to hold this accolade and brings unrivalled knowledge and ability of modern electrical and engineering technologies used within the industry. Neil left school and went straight into the family business to concentrate on the management of the parts and warranty areas of the business and more recently to establish our ATV section with Polaris. With ATV safety becoming so prominent in today’s society Neil has undertaken and achieved the position of Scotland’s first qualified EASI instructor for quad safety.
