Transition to a highly efficient, zero-till crop establishment system with the UK’s leading Low Disturbance Subsoiler. The Sumo LDS is meticulously engineered to alleviate deep subsurface compaction while leaving the soil surface virtually untouched. This targeted approach is proven to significantly reduce costly grassweed germination, protect your soil from carbon loss, and create the optimal growing environment for strong, resilient yields.
Key Features & Operational Benefits:
- Precision Soil Management: Fractures compacted layers below the surface to improve drainage and root development, without disrupting the topsoil or triggering dormant weed seeds.
- Drive Down Input Costs: By reducing the need for heavy tillage and chemical weed control, the LDS delivers immediate, measurable savings on fuel, labour, and crop inputs, whilst minimising machine wear and tear.
- Boost Your Bottom Line: A healthier, structurally sound soil environment translates directly to better yields and a stronger return on investment.
- Versatile One-Pass Drilling: Equipped with 500mm row spacings, the LDS can easily be converted into a one-pass drill by adding seeder and SDO (Single Disc Opener) accessories. This makes it an ideal, highly efficient solution for zonal strip-till cover cropping and oilseed rape establishment.
